Half Day Jewell Island Adventures
Experience OFF-THE-BEATEN-PATH Maine and join us exploring uninhabited islands!
If you are seeking an activity that will define your Maine experience, look no further than our private Jewell Island charters. Jewell is an uninhabited island on the edge of Casco Bay that offers something for everyone. The adventurous will explore the ruins of World War II lookout towers that offer incredible views of Casco Bay and the Gulf of Maine. The artistic will find inspiration in the beautiful forests and rocky coastal scenes that can be found along the well-developed hiking trails. The curious will enjoy time exploring Jewell's pebbly beaches and perhaps even take a dip in the sheltered waters of Cocktail Cove. The gourmet will bring along some lobster and let us help you create your own seaside lobster bake. The intrepid will spend a night or two at one of Jewell's several campsites (we offer camping trip shuttles if you desire).
No dock is available at Jewell, so we will anchor in the shelter of Cocktail Cove or the Punchbowl and row ashore in our dingy. After that, the island is yours…whether you wish to hike, relax, or explore its history.
This is truly an authentic Maine experience that not many are lucky enough to enjoy. Get off the beaten path for a real Maine adventure!
